Integration Pilot Program

Community Involvement

KDOT encourages robust community involvement and will allow for public feedback on operations across the state, as well as those that directly affect their local area. Throughout the program Kansas residents will have an opportunity to provide input and participate directly to help shape policy and UAS operations across the state.

The goals of the KDOT IPP Team are meant to:

  • Reduce negative impact to air and ground traffic in chosen operation areas
  • Reduce chance of incidents/accidents through successful airspace stakeholder communication (aerial agriculture applications, other low flying traffic)
  • Promote public feedback and participation to gather FAA community outreach data
  • Engage local population to ensure transparency and safety for Kansas residents

If you'd like to provide feedback on the KDOT IPP, please contact 785-296-2553 or use the form provided on this website.
